- Start from a very personal experience of dislocation / displacement in my life. I have a sense of a missing ambiance that I am trying to address through drawing and considerations of Sufism.
- The geometric forms repeated, have quite a natural feel – like a pile of rocks perhaps. It is to do with the sense of gravity. Creating your own chaos. But also, finding order in chaos.
- Topology Lectures – Tate Channel. Margaret Wertheim, the Crocheted coral reef. Ernesto Netto (if you can’t find them, ask Fran for the links).
- Daniel Zeller – mycelial growth.
- The textures that you have developed are great.
- The way the prints break out of the boundary – beyond the plate, is really interesting.
- Associations with blueprints. When the lines are less obviously straight and architectural – more ambiguous, they are very successful
